Dawn works as a midwife in Southern Health and Social Care Trust. She has been working with researchers from Ulster University and Diabetes UK, contributing to the co-creation and co-design of a project exploring experiences of women with diabetes during menopause.
She has also been involved in the co-production of research priorities for Type 1 Diabetes with James Lind Research Alliance.
