Biography

Tamsin has worked in the NHS since 2009 and has been a DSN since 2014 and works at the Royal Stoke University Hospital part of the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. Prior to becoming a DSN, Tamsin worked as a critical care nurse for 5 years within the same Trust

Tamsin’s current role involves being team leader for the diabetes and endocrinology nurse team, the role encompasses both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities and is very clinical in nature. She is a non-medical prescriber.

Tamsin is the Clinical Lead for Diabetes Inpatients NHSE (Midland network)

Tamsin is also director for the DSN Forum UK Ltd, a member of the RCN Diabetes committee. She is also part of the Diabetes 101 team who have won 2 x QIC awards 2021.

Tamsin has completed her MSc with Kings College London.
