The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, title, name, job title, place of work and contact details)

How we get the personal information and why we have it

The personal information we process is provided to us directly by the person registering for the Trend Diabetes in the capacity of attendee, sponsor or membership, for one of the following reasons:

  • Contact information to help the Trend Diabetes events team resolve any queries arising from the individual’s registration and / or desire to be a sponsor.
  • Contact information to help the Trend Diabetes events team facilitate the smooth running of the event for all concerned.
  • Contact information to sign up to become a member of Trend Diabetes.

We may share names, job titles and places of work through delegate lists to partners and sponsors of Trend Diabetes events which may include pharmaceutical companies.

Prior to and following any event, we may share information provided by our sponsors.

We also give individuals the opportunity to sign up for updates about healthcare education, campaigns and events organised by Orange Juice Communications. This is optional and if declined will not prevent individuals from registering for Trend Diabetes or becoming a sponsor for the event. If individuals sign up for these updates, they will be alerted to upcoming healthcare education, campaigns and events organised by Orange Juice Communications by the organisation’s events team. This is the same events team which manages Trend Diabetes.
