Trend Diabetes is a finalist in two categories of the HSJ Partnership Awards 2021 in recognition of a year-long insulin safety campaign.
We teamed up with Orange Juice Communications throughout 2020 to roll out the Trend Diabetes Insulin Safety Campaign.
As well as providing extra resources, including PowerPoint educational slides, for Insulin Safety Week, the campaign also sent out leaflets and crib cards to diabetes teams and GP practices across the country throughout the year and for World Diabetes Day. In total, almost 200,000 printed resources were distributed.
The campaign has now been shortlisted for the ‘Best Educational Programme for the NHS’ and ‘Most Effective Contribution to Patient Safety’ categories of the HSJ Partnership Awards 2021.
The awards celebrate and reward the essential role of private and third sector organisations in strengthening our healthcare system.
Judging will take place in February and the awards ceremony will be held in June.
